Little Ham

Yesterday we went to Coeur D'Alene to Sears for her pictures. Figured she deserved at least her one year pictures taken by a professional instead of her mother. As you can see she was just a little ham. She did so well. Yesterday was actually a 'Girls Day'. Dad stayed home and watched the other kids while we ran away. Since it was so close to her birthday I felt she deserved a good dinner, too. She now has a new favorite food....Olive Garden breadsticks!! She also was flirting with a young man across from us. Found out he was 6 days younger than her. I think they were having a breadstick eating contest. Hope you enjoy the pictures and check back after Saturday (her birthday) I should have another post then. Take care and God Bless!

Hockey girl and Hockey boy

Hockey pictures finally came back. I think they turned out pretty good!! I'll post the school pictures when they finally come.
For all the Americans reading this: Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday...it's wierd not celebrating it at this time of year but it is still in my heart. Wish we could be there.

Good Bye Princess Hair

Meredith has always been very proud of her "Princess Hair". We have been working for a long time to get her sides grown out so that they would blend in nicely with the rest of her hair. Now, for some strange reason on Monday evening Meredith got a scissor and started cutting her hair. On one side. So, one side was past her jawline, and the other to her cheek bone. She cut it all the way back, too. So when I told here we were gonna have to cut off her "Princess Hair" you could just about imagine the wailing. Yesterday afternoon she had an appointment with a wonderful lady named Diana who finished the hair cut that Meredith started. Meredith did very well during her haircut and even liked it afterward. As her hair was coming off she began to look even more like Christina. One of the teachers in the next chair even said so!!

First Hockey Tourney

Shayne and Meredith had their first hockey game et tournament this weekend. They played two games Saturday and one game Sunday. Shayne scored a total of 5 goals in the three games and got MVP in the third game. Meredith remebered to keep two hands on her stick (most of the time) and stayed standing upright (most of the time). They both did really well as did the whole team. By the way...they didn't win any of the games. On the video: The first little bit they are wearing white and the last bit they are in black. Shayne and Meredith are the only ones with red, white, and blue socks. Shayne's number is 21 and Meredith's is 5. Enjoy the video.
