Another Walker First

Vincent had his first day of Kindergarten yesterday. Oh what a proud, big, boy he was! He loved every minute of it. He's wanted to go to 'real' school for so long (I guess pre-school wasn't 'real'). AND he was so lucky that his grandma and great grandma from North Dakota were here to share it with him. What a wonderful day!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are FINALLY DONE!!!

I love to do ceramics at Bunny's Ceramic Hutch here in town. Meredith saw a Snow White in the fall of 2007 and wanted me to paint it for her....and the 7 dwarfs to go with it, of course. So in December 2007 I started with Snow White and the seven dwarfs followed. Slow but sure I got them all done (project done on 09-09-09...how cool is that! LOL)

So, now, can you name all the dwarfs?

School Year 2009-2010

OH Where did the summer go? I know...3 weeks in ND and 1 week in Saskatoon, hockey camp, Super Sweaty Sports Camp, Girl Power Camp, and my new job at Boundary Community Hospital. Whew!! Today was day 1 for Christina, Shayne, and Meredith. They are now Grade 7, 4, and 2 respectively. The school was a-buzz with all the new faces; new principal, new teachers, and a bunch of new students. I believe this will be an AWESOME year at Canyon Lister Elementary School!!!! (Vincent starts kindergarten next week and Cat will start nursery school later this month or in October...there will be pictures to come)
